A bit of a dark and moody post for a wonderfully dark and moody book. Catriona Ward has done it again and man, is it impressive!!
On Friday evening, I picked up this book, ready to delve into another psychologically twisted universe and I did not put this book back down until I finished it at 2am that morning!
Sundial is phenomenal, somehow perfectly mixing the traumatic realities of family life with incredibly outlandish horrors in a way that makes it all seem so real.
Trigger warnings apply, as always with horror. (Animal lovers, beware. This gets tough.) Still, I cannot recommend this book enough and, as always, a huge thank you to Tandem Collective UK for sending me this copy!
