This is a short review taken from my Instagram because I think this book needs to be featured everywhere I can. And yes, this book was gifted to me by Nobrow Press, but my opinions are entirely my own!

An Illustrated History of Ghosts is a charming and terrifying walkthrough the history of all things paranormal, across centuries, countries and cultures alike. Accompanied by adorable illustrations, there’s just enough word to picture ratio to keep the pages turning. It’s factual without being even remotely boring and light without downplaying the more serious topics the book covers.

All in all, this book has certainly earned its place on my favourites list and I can see myself rereading this whenever a spooky mood strikes me (which is often!) 🖤👻
